After having my son ( he is now 12) I was diagnosed with having an irritable bladder. Which basically means that most foods out there are awful for my bladder. So anything acidic..... Most fruits, different breads, certain foods. Pretty much most things really.
It took me nearly six years to figure out what I could eat.
Last year I became unable to eat wheat. So. I got used to that. That took away a lot of my food I couldn't eat. But I could eat some ( not much) of the wheat free stuff.
Then I realised that it was the tapioca flour in lots of wheat free stuff.
And then last week the doctor and I came to the conclusion that I can no longer have milk.
I have been left with not much left to eat. And I have had enough.
I can no longer really eat out anymore. When I meet people for a coffee etc I have to have water ( can't have fizzy or juices because of my bladder)
Life pretty much sucks right now.
Does anyone have such extreme diets. How do you cope with going out for dinner or just life in general?
