My ds is just 11 months. I have noticed that he gets a rash when he eats a citrus fruit or a strawberry. It took me a while to make the connection, at first I attributed it to other things.
With a strawberry, he will go red anywhere it touches.
With a orange or other citrus, he gets a rash a little while after eating it on his forehead - red with small bumps. Today he had a lick of his brother's ice pop after lunch and immediately got the forehead rash.
Are there foods I should avoid giving him e.g. do these allergies predict others?
What will GP need to know - should I bring a picture?
I am asthmatic as is most of the family but my other two children don't seem to have any sort of allergy or atopic condition.
Thanks.
