this petition is aimed at tesco, who have been slapping 'may contain nuts' warnings on many of their products such as , apple juice, ham, pre packed veg etc.

Am signing this. Tesco were always bad for blanket nut warnings on bakery products, but sounds like they have got worse (am an Asda girl myself and only shop at Tesco when on holiday).

As parents of allergic children and/or adults who have allergies, we need a realistic assessment of the risk. "May contain" for insurance purposes is no good to us at all because it doesn't give us accurate information. I think it is also a bit discriminatory - "we don't want you people with allergies shopping at our store because there aren't enough of you to affect our profits" Angry

Apparently loose women were having a snigger about it. I didn't see it, but people were in a rage about it on the anaphylaxis campaign Facebook page.

loose women did make a bit of a joke of it, some woman complaining that her coffee and walnut cake was not allowed in school! er what kids are gonna like that anyway??? then she put on twitter some snarky comment about i cant stop eating this yummy peanut butter.

tho they ARE going to do another show on allergies, and the campaign.

thank you all for signing and sharing
