Anyone finished the new Karin Slaughter-Genesis,

(10 Posts)
I haven't read the whole of her last Sara and Jeffey book, I got really fed up of that Lena character so stopped reading . I do like her books though, Triptych is one of my faves

Callaird-is a good idea to read previous ones,I always re-read the last one just before new one gets released(but thats cos my memory is crap)What do you think of the Will Trent charachter,I just cant warm to him at all!

PWD-Miss Jeffrey too-Yeah quite fancy 'Getting Slaughtered' but am too lazy to enter
have got but not read yet....won't be the same without jeffrey....

as an aside, i have always fancied having my name used for one of her (usually brutally slain) characters...need to go on website to see how people win this

I finally got around to reading it last week, was a little shocked that she had combined characters from her other series' of books, but thought it was good.

I do feel that I have to read all the other Sara/Jeffery ones again now and then Genesis again as I feel like I have missed some things from previous books.

I did read it quite quickly too, so might have missed stuff, will read them all again when I get back from 10 days proxy parenting my ex-charges!

No Spoilers.....I did enjoy it, but it was'nt as 'Sara' focused as I would have liked.
Will keep an eye on this thread and see what everyone thought!!!
Am waiting to receive this from my sister, so won't be back on this thread until I've finished it!

I only got it yesterday!! Hopefully weather will be good over the weekend and I will get to read it.

I'm not sure I want to read it with Jeffery gone!

I know it is set a couple of years later but am guessing it will cover what happened?

Did you enjoy it??

Will come back when I've read it, don't want to read any spoilers!!

xx

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
