i have just finished The Lovely Bones and have already finished we need to talk about Kevin, the great gatsby, wuthering heights, and pride and prejudice.

last night i began my sisters keeper and also downloaded the night circus.

i am addicted to reading.

wish i could read a bit faster but the children seem to think itsy job to feed them

I can't remember all that I've read so far! The Millennium trilogy, I think, some Michael Innes books, a China Mieville book, my lovely lovely Short and Sweet cookbook , and now reading Delusions of Gender. Have another China Mieville book lined up, and a Dashiell Hammett book. Also got The Help for Christmas but not sure I want to read it.

Hi alovely i have these 2 book's the lovely bones and my sister's keeper must get reading them have so many book's must get started children back at school next week so will get started . Also got a kindle fire for christmas so will get started

the help is on my wishlist it has good reviews although i seem to be dithering over whether to download it or not.

i couldn't live without my kindle.

The Help is an excellent book.

Yes agree, The Help is fantastic.
So far this year I have read To Kill a Mockingbird (read it many many years ago but got far more out of it on this occasion - I finally realise what all the fuss is about!)
Also read John Taylor's very disappointing autobiography.
Currently reading the final Harry Potter to ds (late to the party on this as well!) and Phil "Brookside" Redmond's biography.

ooh thanks for reminding me of to kill a mockingbird. i read it at school but i didn't pay much attention then!

Me too re To Kill a Mockingbird. just didn't get it as a teenager.
Then dd got it as a set piece for her GCSE English and kept asking me questions, so I thought I should reread it. It'll take a lot of beating for this years top readJ

samu, i read into the darkest corner last year and totally loved it.

alovelybunch yes i really enjoyed it and would recommend it ... I do have to say something to say about but id have to wait until you've read it!

I have read so far:
The twelve by Justin Cronin
The prisoner of heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
The angels game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
and I have just started The Host by Stephanie Meyer

The twelve is the follow up to the passage, and I was a bit dissapointed with it.
The prisoner of heaven was fantastic, as I think he is one of the best storytellers ever, and then because it was based on the angels game, which I read a couple of years ago, I had to reread it and now it makes a lot more sense.

And although I am not really a Stephanie meyer fan, my mum has persuaded me to read the Host before we see it in the cinema in March, but it is actually very good.

Didn't realise until just now that they both have bodies in the title Though very different,, both do have a bit of sex
