I'm reading through John Conolly's Charlie Parker series...and I have to say, I wouldn't say no...

John Proctor in The Crucible, I love a man of principal even if he did shag that slut Abigail.
Oh, and Detective Jack Caffery in Mo hayder's novels...he's one bad boy
Jack Reacher. I deliberately haven't seen the film because I don't want him ruined.

Ooh, yes to Jack Reacher. Tom Cruise doesn't come close!
I came on to say Jack Caffrey! There's a foreward in one of her books where she says people come up to her and guiltily admit that they really, really fancy him.
I always had a bit of a crush on Nick the chauffeur from The Handmaid's Tale, don't know because he's hardly in the book that much.
Oh, and Eric Northman. Which goes without saying, really.

Reacher. You'd be safe in the knowledge he had showered recently.
Don't like your phrasing - it would obviously be nothing less than perfect love between myself and the below:
Roland of Gilead
Aragorn (and probably Gimli and Faramir as well, to be frank)
Colonel Brandon
Sirius Black
Captain Carrot

Jackson Brodie. But only if he looked like Jason Isaacs.

Mr Knightley. I think he could be trained to let go quite nicely, even though he is a bit of an old stick at times. Captain Wentworth probably learned a few tricks on his voyages too, but then he probably would have had the clap.

Just to bring the tone down to my not so highbrow reading taste - the Black Dagger Brotherhood. All of them
Captain Wentworth deffo a bit of a goer, I think. I reckon Henry Crawford might be fun for a night or two, too.

Salvo Montalbano. Phwoargh...
Jon Snow (Game of Thrones)
Rupert Campbell Black
Sherlock Holmes
Sirius Black
Actually, I'd probably do Rob Stark as well.
