I wasn't really a fan either, but then I don't like "funny" books or films. (Contrarty to what you might think, I do have a sense of humour!)

I'm reading it at the moment and enjoying it. Some good laugh out loud moments. It appeals to my sense of humour - very dark

I must be the only person alive who hated this book.
I brought it after reading all the wonderful reviews about it only to be very disappointed.
It reminded me of the children's book about the giant turnip where the farmer collects more and more people to try and pull up the giant vegetable.
I preferred that book more.

The Kate Morton books are really good MrsBungleBear. I think the 100 year old man is still on offer for 20p if anyone wants it.

I bought this when it was deal of the day on Kindle. It was sweet, very funny in places, and I liked the unconventional hero. Not the best I've read but one of the most entertaining, certainly.
Well I'm going to go against the popular opinion, I didn't like it. Read about a third and then gave up. Just couldn't get on with it
I'm reading this at the moment and have been recommending it to all and sundry!

Was on offer I think for the Kindle? I think I have lined up to read. Super as dragging myself through a current read just cos' I have read all the others they wrote - but you are pushing my loyalty Patricia Cornwell.

I'm half way through this one too. I'm really enjoying it- it has ended a bit of a reading drought for me. Every night I find myself saying "I'll just read one more chapter...." Until I've been reading way past my bed time!

Loved it. My teenaged son is currently reading it too. Spent most of the New Year holiday trying to get friends to buy it!

It's on my long to be read list, I got it for 20p on my kindle.
I've just started reading this for my Book Club and am finding it very sweet so far. Now just need to think of more insightful things than that to say about it at our meeting!
