I quite liked the woman but the bloke was a wazzock.

Cyd you are not alone, it sat on my shelf for a year, just didn't feel the urge to read it, saw the film and promptly donated said book to the library.

I gave up half way through, glad to hear I'm not the only one who doesn't 'get' it

I'm currently half way through it, have been halfway through it for about 6 months, it's just not grabbing my attention. I love a plot twist tho so I may pick it up again. My problem is all I have in my mind is that awful Anne Hathaway that played Emma in the film, I can't bear her and means I am having trouble liking the character.

Hated it too, pleased to see other people did. I read a fair bit of trash but this was so slow/boring for the first half of the book.

I didn't like it. Opinion divided in rest of my book group. I certainly didn't want to go and see the film as I did not want to waste any more time withcharacters I could not stand!

I didn't get it either. The characters didn't make sense for me. Thought it clunky and obvious.
