Hi my second post on Mumsnet...so when my little sweeties are all tucked up I grab my book or recently my Kindle and read. I've just finished one of the best stories I've ever read and thought I'd share it. It's called Dawn by the River by Elli Fitz...it's on Kindle and cos finances are tight and it was only 99p on Amazon, I thought treat yourself, and hope he sleeps. Anyway it's a contemporary romance beautifully written and a beautiful story about Dani and sorry if it's close to home but there's a pregnancy and the scene about flatulence and pregnancy had me in stitches. I love the way Dani is bringing up her gorgeous son Sacha (given me some great ideas for my James),and their family experiences in Latvia at Christmas gets you into the festive mood. Oh and there is such a twist at the end. I think this will be taking off soon as it gets known. It's one of the few books i will reread too. I noticed Elli has another book so I'm hoping my OH remembers my gift token off Santa. Now I shared my book recommendation do you have a Christmassy read you could suggest, cheers. Merry Christmas and hope they sleep well for us all!

hi Zoe88 it has one or two steamy bits, a very uncomfortable decision to make and the consequences made me cry...but the love of a mother for her child is so strong and their relationship is beautiful...and one big twist I didn't see coming at the end. Do get back and tell me your views at the end?
Have a good Christmas and hope your child/children give you some sleep. I'm taking my two older ones a long long walk on Christmas Eve and push J in push chair hoping fresh air will get him to sleep too.
