Happy mothers day to all the mums out here. Both birth and adoptive mums.

Those who aren't with their kids please be gentle with yourself today (and always)

And for those who are enjoy it because there are others out there who would do anything to be in your place. Today is your day. I hope you get spoilt.

Thank you Miracle Flowers Thinking of you as always x

I will be gentle with myself. Today doesn't feel like mothers day, because the 15th March is DD2's birthday. 19 today. She isn't here. In some ways that's a good thing, and that really hurts. I have lovely gifts from my other 2 children and my grandchildren, but there's another small pile of presents upstairs with no one here to open them. Just not in any mood for mothers day faff. But am pretending obviously for everyone else's sake, they've spoilt me rotten.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers here and the mothers-to-be Flowers Smile

Hope my little boy is being loved by either his foster mam or his adoptive mam today. Love him and miss him every day

Thank you Miracle. It must be a very hard day for you - without your own Mum and without your boy.

I find Mother's Day a bit of a fraud - and thought a lot about BM today. Am sure - even though DS has not lived with her for over 3 years, days like this are especially tough. And she has no idea that I thought a lot of her today as I went through the fakery of today. I find Mother's Day, DS's birthday and also adoption order day very sad. My DH doesn't quite get it.

Thinking of you Miracle, Lilka and all.

Currently in discussions with friends about how churches can make Mothering Sunday more inclusive and empathetic.

Bless you all.

Happy Mother's Day, everyone - especially those who find it difficult. I spent today thinking of a very dear relative, who has had the door finally shut on parenthood.

Personally, had a bit of a duff one: dd told me she hated me and I'm the worst mother in the world. But I'm getting used to that.
