I am doing a family tree for a family who is trying to trace their adopted family member from 1949. Two sisters were adopted the same day and I am checking the GRO index of adopted children. Obviously ere a. Lot of numbers so do I assume that two sisters would have volume and entry numbers on the index that are close in number to each other? This would help in narrowing down
