It's here!

This thread is for links and stories for NAW this year, whether TV, newspaper or any other helpful resources :)

I'll kick off -this was actually 2 days ago, but lovely story in the Guardian. Interview with a single Dad and his twin teenage sons who were adopted at the age of 7. It was honest, realistic and uplifting - www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2013/nov/02/adoption-success-story-one-for-the-boys

The NAW website is here

ITV's 'This Morning' are profiling children who need adoption this week, you can watch on their website and view the childrens profiles on the NAW website

In the US, the whole of November is 'National Adoption Month' and since 2011, 'Chicago Now' have done one little story every day of the months, called 'Portraits of an Adoption'. I haven't actually seen that much this year (but probably because I've been busy). However, this is quite the nicest celebrity adoption story I've read in a while:

Devora that was such a lovely story :)

I took part in a twitter chat last night to raise adoption awareness and chat to prospective adopters. It was good, gave some information and encouragement, shared hopes and experiences. Also, 'our' hashtag trended, we were right behind #eastenders in the side bar, which was quite an achievement Grin

Now off to blog more about myth debunking, spare rooms and other stuff based on prospective adopters' questions
