We have one icsi miracle age 6. Once we finally got moving the process was fine but we lucked out with the most amazing social worker ever so that helped

cool, we were training to be foster parents when I fell pregnant with our third and have to say I found all the sws to be great....may have licked out too though as have heard the opposite too.

Can I ask,if you've been told this... if SWs have an idea about a possible match, how long does it take for them to give you the info, the child's SW to check you out and matching panel to happen? Ie how quickly after adoption panel can you be matched?

We were just told it depends where the specific child is in the legal process. I'm not an expert but think it would be a minimum of 3 months up post approval. Only saying that as after 3 month you go on national register so if you are with a la it's in their interest to match you with one of their children before that happens. It all depends if there is a suitable match there for you though.
