Fantastic. I can still remember the beautiful smile my DD gave us the first time she met us. Such a special time, hope it goes well

How lovely. Congratulations.

Yes, it's exhausting. And I was so worried and anxious that I was doing things right that I didn't have time to relax and enjoy them for quite a while.

It will come. But it can take much longer than you expect, so don't worry about it.

That is so normal. We found the bridging so tiring that we could barely talk most nights. And it does take time to bond, many months sometimes. Good luck, be kind to yourself and have fun.

Hi not tummy, Dont worry that is completely normal!

it can take a long time to bond with any child.

It took me a few months with all my children, slightly less with some than others, and with my DSS a little more.

Skin to skin at any age can be really beneficial.

Take it slow, don't worry too much about bomding and just ,slowly get to know your DDx

Going well. It's been very tiring entertaining a child that you don't know.
Starting to bond but it's not hit me staight away. Maybe that's the same for other adoptive parents.
