Yep, ds1 went out yesterday and bought Christmas presents .

He bought me a birthday present last month [double ]

He must have stopped hating me . Seriously though, I'm almost afraid to post that he is in good form recently. Normally this time of year (his birthday) is a nightmare - last year he was arrested and smashed up the police station, the previous year he got completely stoned, the year he was 14 he ran away and slept rough for a week! He hates his birthday, but thisyear seems (almost) happy. He even said he's supplying the Christmas tree .

I'm afraid to hope.

But it might be a good Christmas .

That's great, Mary. I can understand you not wanting to get your hopes up, but I can and do hope for a really calm and peaceful Christmas for you
