A green paper mâché cricket that DS2 made about 3 years ago. I am in the process of doing up their bedroom, and didn't want it to get squashed.
Normally nothing because DS3 shares my room and breaks EVERYTHING.
But he's in the travel cot downstairs with Ex tonight. I'm up because DS1 has a cough that would raise the dead.
So even though I've got a night off from non sleeping hyperactive toddler DS3, in awake because DS1 is ill. Pah!
Just looked again and there is also a hairband, an empty children's oral medicine syringe (they're bloody everywhere in my house, 3 DC's on regular meds, play therapy says to let them have clean ones to play with), and "Giraffes can't dance" which was DS3's bedtime story last night!

Can I ask a silly question of those of you with chargers, routers, phones etc by your beds? When it's really, really silent in the house do you ever hear a high pitched - really high pitched - hum or whine from them? DH has a thousand gadgets plugged into his side of the bed and I can definitely hear this whine/hum when I'm over on his side. He's convinced I'm losing it, though, as he can't hear a thing. It's one of those noises that, once you notice it, just gets louder and louder. I'm def convinced it's there!! Or am I going crazy??!!
Lamp
