Why can't I type the word THE. Or THEN, for that matter.

(14 Posts)
I wrote something earlier and had to go back and correct FIVE instances of 'teh' and 'tehn'.

Everything else is fineish. What's wrong with me? Is it a recognised medical condition?
Maybe if we swap the keys on our keyboards around? Clearly the e and the h are in the wrong place as are the ' and the ;

Would I then end up typing 'clharly' instead of 'clearly' though?
lolol at insuracne.

I do peopel and parnets.
Oh god I do don;t all the time too.

Must learn to type better.

song
Another one who types teh and also eth as well - have given up correcting - the MN spelling police will never catch me.........
I do this all the time. It's clearly a sign of intellect. wink

I have the same problem. Also worked in insurance for a while, and every time I typed 'insuracne' first time. Wasn't good.
I read 'teh' and I get that Mel and Kim song in my head.
I do this too - and also ; instead of ' so I type don;t etc and no matter how hard I concentrate or how sober I am I still do it
lol at briliance.

Inane witterings more like.

I shall have to practise typing. Funnily enough it gets better after wine. but I think that's 'cause I peer at the screen more intently.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]
For a no comment face, , type [biscuit]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
