penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

BBC Radio London, i listen to Vanessa Feltz 9am-12pm ,she is really good, which surprised me because i really hated her tv programmes.
am listening to 6music right now actually...it is bloomin' good
had a nostalgic moment when this came on
and I was instantly transported back to a sweaty indie disco circa 1992
oh the heady days of my yoof grin
i nearly cried blush

6 music, except George Lamb is best avoided.

Another vote for BBC 6 music. Or radio 2. I tend to swap between the two depending on who's on/time of day. Cerys Matthews normally has a show in the afternoons and she's great, but she's on tour at the moment. Hopefully she'll be back soon....

And steve lamaq (SP?) and Phil Jupitus are usually on there somewhere, so it's not just a pile of random folks.

I like it for work as it's not toooo in yer face but not as frumpy as R2 can sometimes be (I save that for days off!)
Depends on the time of day, but mostly Radio 6, with some specific programmes on Radio 2 and Radio 4 at 6:30 for the comedy hour.

I absolutely hate commercial radio stations because of the adverts so never ever have then on.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]
For a no comment face, , type [biscuit]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
