Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

back garden, street of houses beyond, top of hills in distance

Argh! Boysarelikedogs, are you our next door neighbour??! smile

From ours I can see an assortment of rabbit runs
the washing line
the swings

Some of the rest of the garden but it's up a slope iyswim

The tall trees at the end which are as high as the roof I think (3/4 storey victorian house)

occasionally a pheasant, sparrowhawk, random cats etc etc
Our side passage, stacks of empty Ikea boxes and beyond that our neighbours kitchen window. We do have bifold doors at the end of the kitchen though that look out on to our slightly unkempt garden complete with random footballs deposited there by last weekend's winds.

back garden - kids' playhouse, palm tree, favourite huge planter, and, right now, the glare of neighbours' awful security light!

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
