dd 16 months loves stickers but they don't go in a book, they go everywhere around the house and on all visitors, i went to baby clinic last week and the hv asked me if i liked teddies as i had 3 stickers on my jeans blush. i just buy cheap stickers, no books.

You'll have to peel the stickers off the backing paper and hand them to her. Or hold them over the paper for her to press down.

We got some cheap ones from The Works (cheapie bookshop) if you have one of those near you? they had a whole series of animals, vehicles, etc etc, which my DD has loved from about 18 months onwards. I just have to watch I don't end up with them all over the furniture grin

Dd was always happiest with a glue stick, a piece of paper and some pictures cut out of magazines at this age. Much cheaper, she was able to do more of it herself, and it held her interest for longer than a sticker book would have done.

i think you DD wouldn't do much sticking but you would!

Large supermarkets (the size that stock toys and clothes) tend to have them. I wouldn't bother with the book at that age as it's the one place the stickers are unlikely to get stuck.

naily, stickers can get eaten/partly eaten/stuck on TV screen/stuck on something else you'd rather not have stickers on.

DS mostly sticks them on me, although at that sort of age he tended to stick them on the floor.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
