I love Mary Berry and Jack Monroe, although I admit that it might be more because of their personalities than their food!

How about you?

Gino D'campo just because i find him amusing grin

Delia Smith, because her recipes always work.

I never really watched her on TV, but I have most of her books. I have a huge collection of cookery books, but hers are the ones I go back to again & again.

Theo Randall. His restaurant in London is our favourite place for special nights out

Heston - I love the ideas behind his recipes (especially his Perfect Christmas where he recreated all the memories from his childhood in food)

And The Silver Fox - Paul Hollywood.
I don't really need to explain that one do I? wink

Gordon Ramsey because he takes his shirt off at the beginning of the programme

Michel Roux Jnr because I could cook for him & he wouldn't take the piss & i bet he's great in bed

Did you know he's from Yorkshire Sparkling

And I wouldn't eat that butter, he'd get his pubes in it envy << vom

WitchWay Mon 18-Aug-14 22:38:12

Oh god James Martin - he wears a corset I'm sure - that upright breathed-in stance

hmm

Gileswithachainsaw Mon 18-Aug-14 22:39:45

I love nigella and the hairy bikers.

Something addictive about Gordon Ramsey though

trufflehunterthebadger Mon 18-Aug-14 22:39:50

Michel Roux - both senior and junior. As an ex patissier, michel snr is my hero

Sparklingbrook Mon 18-Aug-14 22:40:30

He never mentions it does he 70? grin I love him. I have zero interest in cooking though.

Gino D'Campo makes me want to put my foot through the telly.

I do like Simon Rimmer.

trufflehunterthebadger Mon 18-Aug-14 22:41:55

I've met michel junior at le gavroche a few times, one of my old apprentices worked there. Michel is really lovely. Firm but fair, all his staff idolise him

Worked at the Greenhouse when Gary Rhodes had it. He is lovely

Coco0123 Mon 18-Aug-14 22:42:59

Gordon Ramsey <swoon>
He has that certain twinkle in his eye!

Nancy66 Mon 18-Aug-14 22:45:07

A lot of these aren't actually 'chefs'. I like Jamie. his food is tasty, easy and not too poncy

not a chef but I like Nigel Slater's recipes a lot too .

Delia is too boring and basic for me
