I need a lightweight buggy for five week old DD. Needs to be parent facing, fold up quickly and compactly and be compatible with a car seat. Ideally maxi-cosi but flexible. Up to mid level budget - no bugaboos!! Please help!

I know you said no bugaboos. But have you looked for a secondhand bee? Also There's a new model coming out next month and last time they did that the previous model was half price in John Lewis.

Bebe confort streety?

icanmakeyouicecream Mon 18-Aug-14 13:42:06

The thing for you would probably be a bugaboo bee I be honest.

Frusso Mon 18-Aug-14 13:43:03

It's parent and forward facing and the seat comes off, so compatible with the maxi-cosi cabrio fix. (although I think it needs adapters)

Don't get a streety, it's a complete bastard and hates kerbs with a passion.

Frusso Mon 18-Aug-14 13:46:37

I didn't find that hotpink. I even took mine camping.

Baby zen yoyo 0+ is parent facing, super small ( hand luggage size), but doesn't take car seat

The mountain buggy nano takes car seat but not parent facing

Nina Ivvi pushchair from it's parent and forward facing, suitable from birth, folds up fairly small and compatible with maxi cosi car seats

loudarts Mon 18-Aug-14 14:03:30

Sorry Nuna Ivvi, damm auto correct

loudarts Mon 18-Aug-14 14:06:02

Or the UPPAbaby Cruz pushchair

grobagsforever Mon 18-Aug-14 14:21:03

I can't get a bugaboo - I live in Surrey! Too clichéd by far. No car so second hand options tricky to collect.

grobagsforever Mon 18-Aug-14 14:24:20

UPPAbaby looks good...

MrsRaegan Mon 18-Aug-14 14:28:50

Uppababy crux or vista.

I have the Uppababy Vista - it's amazing!! Love it so much!

magicalmrmistofelees Mon 18-Aug-14 17:33:36

I have an uppababy vista and love it, but I wouldn't say it's 'lightweight'. I think the Cruz is smaller/lighter but still has the great features like the large shopping basket!

grobagsforever Mon 18-Aug-14 19:42:56

thanks all!

Princessgenie Mon 18-Aug-14 19:57:23

Uppababy. Uppababy. Uppababy. Uppababy. I loved my Uppababy. We had the vista. It's not "lightweight" but was very easy to manoeuvre. Loved it!
