Just urgh.

The feeling when an ice cube sticks to your thumb.

The feel of velvet.

The feel of crunchy cotton wool (actually have shivers writing that one!)

People clicking their FUCKING fingers.

Yes to velvet. And velour. When those cheap tracksuits were on trend I was shuddering left, right and centre.

Seeing belly button piercings and the thought of anything between my toes...I feel queasy just thinking about either.

sunflower49 Wed 30-Jul-14 23:06:25

The feel of scraping off wallpaper (& the smell, urgh!)

mineofuselessinformation Wed 30-Jul-14 23:08:46

The scrape of cutlery in plates... Makes my teeth hurt.

pictish Wed 30-Jul-14 23:09:08

Peeling potatoes makes me shivery and my mouth go dry. Strange one that.

Primadonnagirl Wed 30-Jul-14 23:11:48

Reeds in instruments and wooden lollipops sticks.People tucking in my clothes labels.

Happy36 Wed 30-Jul-14 23:13:04

BlackBerry clicking. GET A TOUCHSCREEN ALREADY!!

Happy36 Wed 30-Jul-14 23:15:03

Also the sound of people slurping the straw of an empty or near-empty juice box. It brings up sick in my mouth and made me dread playtime as a kid.

MorvahRising Wed 30-Jul-14 23:16:12

Polystyrene and foam rubber.

People drumming their fingers on the table makes me want to behave violently . . . .

ResponsibleAdult Wed 30-Jul-14 23:19:33

Think I have read on here that this is " a thing with a name ", but can't remember.

No one I know has any of these things, except my husband with the v odd urge to lick velvet , but for those with the " thing with a name " go see someone, seriously, for yourselves

Microfibre cleaning cloths that stick to your hands

BoredHorse Wed 30-Jul-14 23:21:07

When people scratch of the silver bit on scratch cards, it really goes through me, I can't watch and cover my ears incase I hear the scratching. It's making me feel funny just typing this!

Muddlewitch Wed 30-Jul-14 23:28:20

I hate the feel of microfibre cloths/towels too. confused

EugenesAxe Wed 30-Jul-14 23:33:37

I have quite a big problem handling potatoes covered in dry and dusty mud. I tend to just tip them straight into water so I don't have to feel them rubbing together.

Elliptic - what did you have in mind; a samurai sword? grin

Violetcloud Wed 30-Jul-14 23:47:46

Nails being pulled back from the finger. Nails being cut too short. Catching nails on fabric. Nails.

sweetnessandlite Wed 30-Jul-14 23:49:16

People biting into pears or peaches. I know, wierd.
It's the skin scraping on the teeth confused

ThisIsBULLSHIT Wed 30-Jul-14 23:53:38

The Indian cricket teams' tops. They have freaky holes under their arms which make me feel all weird.

cowbiscuits Wed 30-Jul-14 23:54:22

When I see someone putting anything wool in between their teeth, like chewing a sleeve of a jumper.

I hate those microfibre cloths too when they stick to your hands. And I hate snaggy fingernails- a combination of these would be hell.

EndoplasmicReticulum Wed 30-Jul-14 23:54:47

Clothes labels. Primadonna I wouldn't tuck yours in as I can't touch them but I would not be able to be behind you either.

GiniCooper Wed 30-Jul-14 23:56:12

Oh sweet Jesus I HATE potatoes.
I love eating them. I hate touching them. Feeling them. Peeling them pushes me over the edge.
I have to do it.
I'm Irish, makes it so much worse.

Maryz Wed 30-Jul-14 23:57:13

Me too Elliptic.

I was going to say lego grin
