I got 51%

friendface Mon 21-Jul-14 18:31:56

As a percentage I got 54%, although not entirely sure how that's worked out? I was way off on the religion questions as I forgot a lot of non-practicing christians often identify as being christian. Also massively underestimated the number of non-drivers! Very interesting data though.

NorwaySpruce Mon 21-Jul-14 18:37:36

I got 26%.

I'm clearly walking around with my head up my own backside grin

Letthemtalk Mon 21-Jul-14 18:40:55

Bums it's only for England and Wales. What sort of questions do they ask?

Ragwort Mon 21-Jul-14 18:42:07

I am shocked that I got it so low (35%) - I pride myself on being involved with the community blush - the car ownership was very interesting wonders why it is impossible to park if so few housholds own their own car grin

MissClemencyTrevanion Mon 21-Jul-14 18:43:17

39%!

The one that really surprised me was the home ownership one. I massively overestimated that. I still wonder if I'm comparing like with like.

44% of adults were graduates, that surprised me too.

FeministStar Mon 21-Jul-14 18:46:13

80% but my old job was as a census researcher for my local area smile

SiennaBlake Mon 21-Jul-14 18:48:23

I got 63%. I was surprised by a few answers though.

JillJ72 Mon 21-Jul-14 18:52:37

I got 46%, it's a really good myth busting tool!

Morethanalittlebitconfused Mon 21-Jul-14 18:57:37

20% it's a bit of a shit quiz tbh and not based on local area knowledge at all!

FatewiththeLeadPiping Mon 21-Jul-14 20:41:42

I was surprised - lived here for a few years now. I must try and become more involved with my local community.

Nonie241419 Mon 21-Jul-14 20:42:45

I got 56%. I was way out on the Christian question. I thought this was a pretty secular area (churches closing all over the shop), but it turns out more than 60% of residents consider themselves Christian!

NotCitrus Mon 21-Jul-14 21:57:26

40%, despite being almost spot on half the answers. I underestimated Christians and degree-holders.

Dogsmom Mon 21-Jul-14 22:17:07

55%, I got two questions bang on.

sunnyrosegarden Mon 21-Jul-14 22:24:54

53%. I got one spot on, but was out on the home ownership question.

EduCated Mon 21-Jul-14 22:31:07

48%

I was closest on median age, only a year out. Seems I live in a very young, professional, renting sort of a place. That doesn't surprise me grin

Egghead68 Mon 21-Jul-14 22:31:52

47%. Way out on car ownership (only 15 percent haven't got one) and degrees ( only 30 something percent have got one).

hugoagogo Mon 21-Jul-14 22:33:01

I did really rubbish- who knew so many people consider themselves to be christians? confused

I thought it was going to ask me useful things like schools, supermarkets garages and things rather than those questions which, quite frankly only statisticians would know the answers too.

Well apparently where I live there are only 8/100 without a car, 25/100 homes that aren't owned, and 0/100 Muslims.

Where do they get these stats?

NunsArePeopleTooDougal Mon 21-Jul-14 22:37:21

I got 30%, and got the under 16s one exactly. Was amazed that apparently 0/100 people here are Muslim though.

mummylin Mon 21-Jul-14 22:37:44

39% but two answers I was only one out. I am useless !

MirandaWest Mon 21-Jul-14 22:42:49

The home ownership question is a bit tricky as it's only people with a mortgage. People who own outright don't seem to be included. So areas with older people would be more likely to have paid off their mortgage, but you would feel they should be included within house ownership.

dorothyparka Mon 21-Jul-14 22:50:32

39%--the only local knowledge I have is how to get to Plumbase and that wasn't one of the questions

foxdongle Mon 21-Jul-14 22:55:03

53%
I got the age spot on which happens to be my age.
