Something salty.

cheesy mash.

Chips and mushy peas

Something salty like duck pancakes?

Heinz tomato soup if really yucky - with loads of pepper and buttered white bread

I had Marmite on wholemeal toast - was lovely. Now I fancy watermelon.

Bland carbs for me. Chips, toast, jacket potato with cheese... that kind of thing.

hamptoncourt Fri 18-Jul-14 18:26:19

Heinz mushroom soup

If you want the extra cheesiness, use dairylea as well as instead of butter in the mash. Still add loads of cheddar though.

I don't usually eat carby things such as toast, pasta, cereal etc. Unless I'm ill......then they are the only things that I want to eat. I must be the only one in my family who puts on weight when I'm ill!

Yes bland carbs, rice, bread/toast, crackers, plain crisps, digestive biscuits.

I always have cheesy mash after a migraine. It's lovely and comforting and just what a poorly person needs. smile

Soup and toast

Second cheesy mash.

Right I'm sending dp out for ready salted crisps and cheesy mash.

I really really really want a McDonald's though. chocolate milkshake and big mac meal. it's too far away for him to go and bring it back though sad

Big wAve Tuck. Sorry you're feeling rotten.

Dd has just had a fried egg sandwich. I am a bit jealous, but we're having takeaway curry tonight so I'm trying to get over myself.

PuppyMonkey Fri 18-Jul-14 18:41:10

Slice of bread and butter is often the best thing.

Baddderz Fri 18-Jul-14 18:44:47

Scrambled egg on toast

fried egg sandwich sounds delicious. I'm jealous of your dd!

I'm too hot. I hope mash doesn't make me overheat

A takeaway Pizza Hut Super Supreme Pizza, garlic bread and chicken wings don't care what dip. I order a really big one so I can save a slice or two to eat cold next day to keep my strength up.

If I'm physically well but feeling a bit down, going for a MacDonald's quarter-pounder with cheese, medium chips and a filet-o-fish shared with my fellow miserablist works.

Cheesy mash sounds great. Cheesy chips are great too. Spaghetti with loads of butter, grated cheese and pepper is really good too.

TuckingFablet Fri 18-Jul-14 19:29:37

The smell of cheese made me feel worse so now I have a piece of bread and butter. how exciting

ShineSmile Fri 18-Jul-14 19:30:02
