I found my wedding ring that has been lost for over 3 weeks.

The boss agreed to me getting a new computer for my classroom.

The results that I requested from DD2's school were provided without fuss or fee (unlike her sister's a few years ago when they refused to give me a copy) and she's done well.

Toast and pate for lunch.
Half a bar of Ritter Sport praline chocolate when I got home from work.
The glass of wine I just poured myself.

Not a particularly fun-filled day, really (dull day in the office, dismal school report from DS, piles of laundry), so it's the simple pleasures that have cheered me up.

1. Playing "Peppa pig and friends have a swimming lesson" with DD in her paddling pool

2. Watching DD and our pooch snuggle together on the sofa

3. Having DH home at a reasonable hour, in time to pour me a rather large glass of wine.

1) Making a pile of different paper aeroplanes and impressing DS.
2) Having DS (5) fall asleep on my earlier - very rare these days.
3) Getting a lovely card from the ex-inlaws simply thanking me for letting them have DS for the day. They 'weren't allowed' to be involved until ex was comfortable apparently and were heartbroken at missing so much time but we are making up for it now and they are so pleased.
