Degustibusnonestdisputandem Sat 28-Jun-14 20:46:23

Watching it too, I rarely use the term, but what a legend! smile. His voice is still amazing grin

FlossyMcgrew Sat 28-Jun-14 20:50:18

Legend is the word! smile

He is fucking amazing.

Brilliant! Although the debate at the moment in our house is whether he dyes his hair or not. I say yes, dp says it's natural.

dustingfree Sat 28-Jun-14 20:54:10

So good! (non dyed I say)

cremolafoam Sat 28-Jun-14 20:59:45

Did you see the kid in the wings?
< son?, grandson?>
He's got a tshirt with "I'm with the band" on it and a AAA PASS on
He's about 6
Love himgringrin

On the basis of that set DH and i have decided that we need to go to Glastonbury next year. We have never been to a festival before despite living very near to T in the Park. It is our 30th wedding anniversary next year. We might make it our Glastoversary.

FlossyMcgrew Sat 28-Jun-14 21:04:18

I'm thinking non dyed. Definitely putting more Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant on my iPod.

catinbootz Sat 28-Jun-14 21:04:43

I think it's alternate years now little

Letthemtalk Sat 28-Jun-14 21:05:49

A friend of mine from uni years looks after his guitars, was very excited to see him on telly!

Skimmingstones Sat 28-Jun-14 21:07:59

littlewhitebag Sat 28-Jun-14 21:09:45

BitOutOfPractice Sat 28-Jun-14 21:12:32

And a proud Wulrunian as well.

littlewhitebag Sat 28-Jun-14 21:12:32

Just looked it up and 2015 seems on for Glasto.

FlossyMcgrew Sat 28-Jun-14 21:13:03

Very flexible littlewhitebag! Happy 31st Glastoversary smile

Watching Jack White now, who I normally like, but just sounds like noise compared to Robert Plant.

FlossyMcgrew Sat 28-Jun-14 21:15:44

I thought it was alternate years too, but heard somewhere else that it was off in 2012 due to the Olympics and lack of portable toilets / police?

Hope you get to go next year little

I have heard < gossip> that he is the nicest rocker ever, signs autographs, poses for pictures and is extremely pleasant.

He supports Wolves and lives within half an hour drive from me!

I feel proud! wink

littlewhitebag Sat 28-Jun-14 21:18:47

We watch all the festivals on TV and our DD's have been to T in the Park. We really need to do this before we are too old. Glasto seems perfect. I have wellies and waterproofs. I can do this. I won't camp though. I assume they do tee pees or something with showers and toilets?

RockandRollsuicide Sat 28-Jun-14 21:28:29

indeed sounds v good compared to the voices of some of his peers, shame he didnt do a turn at the olymics rather than leaving us to Paul
