I just wondered if anyone could guess as, IMO, it's both improbable and slightly unbelievable but I did buy it there, none-the-less....

A faux vintage birdcage, which you've entwined with fake flowers and put in the corner of your dining room, where it will gather dust.

Home Bargains is an amazing shop, selling known brands more cheaply (I once bought some Opie pickled lemons for 39p) and just other random stuff you never thought you needed but, apparently, do. It's a great place to find toys for a fiver for birthday presents (the reason I was there in the first place!) and is miscellaneous. I buy branded kitchen roll there very cheaply, some other brands like cereal bars for £1, not £2 or £2.50, cheap craft bits ....

What I also bought yesterday was ....
