Is what to expect when you're expecting (the film) any good?

Night to self. Can't decide whether to watch it or not. We have it recorded.

Awful, absolutely awful.

I really enjoyed it, but it's not going to make you think deeply or change the way you view the world but it might make you giggle or cry ( I sobbed at the cinema but I was pregnant so I blame hormones)

shakinstevenslovechild Thu 26-Jun-14 18:42:56

It's not particularly great, but I have seen worse <helpful>

Oh I liked it! In that innane can de-zone for an hour and a half way. Dads Club is marvellous!

Another one I watched recently that was shite but great was Blended, with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler.

SaggyAndLucy Thu 26-Jun-14 18:45:17

it was okay. I've seen a lot worse! bridesmaids

OHforDUCKScake Thu 26-Jun-14 18:45:48

Oh my word it was what felt like hours and hours of my life that I'll never get back. Kept watching it in case it got better. It did not.

boxofshells Thu 26-Jun-14 18:59:09

Hmmmm. Inconclusive. I like chick flicks. But am tired but not braindead. Hmmmmmm.

lucidlady Thu 26-Jun-14 19:05:13

I thought it was good in a "I don't need to analyse anything here I can just let it wash over me" sort of way. Quite enjoyed it.

drspouse Thu 26-Jun-14 19:06:33

I thought it was very cheesy and unrealistic (of course) but liked that one couple had a miscarriage (of course the ones who didn't really want to be pregnant) and that one couple adopted (in a completely unrealistic way also).

I thought it was dreadful and I love all that shit normally grin

ThinkIveBeenHacked Thu 26-Jun-14 19:07:53

drspouse you could have at least put Spoiler Alert against that

EmilyElephantTrumpets Thu 26-Jun-14 19:09:46

Ohh FFS!

Lesuffolkandnorfolk Thu 26-Jun-14 19:09:55

I thought the men showed overt dislike of women, whether pregnant or not. I found it quite unsettling.

beccajoh Thu 26-Jun-14 19:11:19

It doesn't require any brain power but it's not the worst film I've ever seen. I found it quite watchable.

OeufieTheEggaphant Thu 26-Jun-14 19:11:24

LOVE it and have seen it a few times now, really funny.

Xmasbaby11 Thu 26-Jun-14 19:12:45

Not good! Friends with kids is better.

MonkeyDLuffy Thu 26-Jun-14 19:14:44

It's totally shit.

drspouse Thu 26-Jun-14 21:42:39

Oh no, sorry! Posting while suffering from migraine, in my defence. Should I report my post/the thread for a title change?

boxofshells Thu 26-Jun-14 22:12:01

You've not ruined it drspouse don't worry! Am halfway through as stopped to make dinner and again for shower and phonecall to best mate. Am actually quite enjoying it. Is just what I needed. But really, what has Cameron Diaz done to her face?

balenciaga Thu 26-Jun-14 22:13:51
