Without scrubbing off several layers of skin with it?

DD has her dance school photoshoot this weekend, it involves her being photographed in her tutu with bare legs. Trouble is her legs have been rather lovingly adorned with spiderman and avengers transfer tattoos!

Somebody said nail polish remover but that just sounds nasty.

I think baby oil does it (if it's any consolation DS once came from a school disco with them on his face!!)

Have you tried baby oil? I am sure that worked on one of DS's many moons ago.

They were right it doesnt hurt and it's the only alternative to scrubbing.

Baby oil

Another vote for baby oil.

I use nail varnish remover and DS skin has been ok with it. Never tried oil though.

Baby oil; you might need several coats though.

Yesterday DD1 adorned her friend, her mum scrubbed them off with a pumice stone. I said baby oil does it, she didn't have any. I would have tried olive oil.

Funny thing is I hate tattoos and don't have any, while her mum does!

Ooh thank you. I'll try baby pil and if no luck nail polish remover.

OldVikingDudeHidMyTubeSocks Tue 24-Jun-14 18:15:34

And by baby pil I mean oil... grin

baby oil or someone said you can cover tattoo with cellotape and pull off (never tried it though)

OldVikingDudeHidMyTubeSocks Tue 24-Jun-14 18:17:23

pumice stone?? That sounds painful.

Oooh yes, baby oil. Just lather it on, and rub it off. And rub. And rub. And rub. It will come off eventually - depending on the quality of the tattoo so says the woman with children who tattooed their faces the day before school photos

Baby oil but you have to break the surface of the tattoo first for it to get underneath so I'd start with a gentle scrub and then lots of baby oil. Do it in the bath as that helps too.

Vaseline also works... and rub and rub and rub. ..
