I'm on the hunt for two scooters...so far dp keeps giving me hmm looks because he's convinced they'll all either have noisy rattley wheels like dd1's old one, or make a kind of 'ting ting ting' noise as they go (little boy up the street has one that does that).

Please help me find a scooter before I go insane from browsing Halfords/ToysRUs/Ebay/Amazon for the bloody things!

(yes, I've had a few threads about scooters in the past week ish, sorry)

Mini and maxi micros. They're stealth scooters.

MwahMum Tue 17-Jun-14 21:29:35

Micro Scooter smile

Second the mini micros. Wonderfully quiet.

lloydlf76 Tue 17-Jun-14 21:30:24

Razor scooters no annoying noises

Waswondering Tue 17-Jun-14 21:30:37

Fourth mini/maxi micro scooters.

CharlesRyder Tue 17-Jun-14 21:31:02

2 or 3 wheels?

Had a mini micro and a micro sprite here. Both totally under the radar.

SLAMM scooters

cornflakegirl Tue 17-Jun-14 21:32:41

Agree, micro scooters.

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie Tue 17-Jun-14 21:32:53

Micro scooter, not a squeaky or rattly wheel in sight.

lucysmam Tue 17-Jun-14 21:37:07

2 wheels Charles, dd2 is most unimpressed with her three wheel-ers (she has two, even though one is fooked she will NOT part with it hmm ).

Micro scooters...I'll be off to browse those again then <sigh>, who knew scooter buying could be sooooo much hard work confused grin

Another vote for maxi/mini scooter

CharlesRyder Tue 17-Jun-14 21:40:26

The Sprite then! My DS and all his cousins have one. They are great. And silent.

Micro sprite. Dd has a pink one but now wants purple and am debating giving in as school she'd is full of pink ones so purple will be easier to spot.

Micro Sprite is quiet.

Excellent! I'll show dp very quickly so he can't over-inspect & order two of those grin

SongsAboutB Tue 17-Jun-14 21:47:35

DD has this micro scooter and it's a bit too quiet, she's running over the back of your heels before you realise she's there. It says it's for 12+ but she's just turned 6 and it suits her fine.

TortoiseUpATreeAgain Tue 17-Jun-14 21:54:27

The Razor is very quiet.

lucysmam Tue 17-Jun-14 21:55:38

grin They walk on my heels anyway, and roll over toes on bikes...scooters can't be much worse! Plus, quiet is good rather than rattle rattle rattle or ting ting ting. You know they're coming atm & it's very annoying.

lucysmam Tue 17-Jun-14 21:57:34

hmmm, I'll hold off on ordering & see if the razor gets any more votes.

The sprite still got a hmm face but he hasn't looked so tough, I'll just crack on & do it myself!

andrea315 Tue 17-Jun-14 22:02:58

Micro we had the three wheel ones and now on to the sprite totally fab I can not stand noisy scooters and these are silent :-)

SongsAboutB Tue 17-Jun-14 22:06:09

I can vouch for the Micro Rocket hurting less than the narrow-wheeled scooters when they go over your foot. The wider wheel spreads the weight a bit.

tassisssss Tue 17-Jun-14 23:33:42

We had 2 micros and now have 2 sprites. Fab scooters, well worth the money.
