DP thinks it's gross that I do. I think it's gross that he doesn't.

Opinions?

Mitchell and Webb - Dirty Tongues - this is why you are brushing your tongues wink

gamescompendium Fri 06-Jun-14 20:00:40

I do. It's not necessary but I like it!

CecyHall Fri 06-Jun-14 20:06:20

I do but when I mentioned it at my old work I realised I was in the minority (there anyway)

DuckSongRocks Fri 06-Jun-14 20:07:44

Yes, people might not want to but why is it gross if you do?

I do.

DioneTheDiabolist Fri 06-Jun-14 20:08:36

I do. It helps get rid of wine and blue slushie residue.blush

I have a special tongue scraper. Hate furry, white tongues.

LettertoHerms Fri 06-Jun-14 20:09:26

Yes! You're supposed to, it removes the dead cells and bacteria as well as any food particles. More likely to have bad breath if you don't.

Mintyy Fri 06-Jun-14 20:10:12

NO! Makes me gag. But my tongue is nice and non-furry.

blackteaplease Fri 06-Jun-14 20:13:03

I do. Dd's pre-school recently had a visit from the dentist and she told them it was important to brush your tongue.

weeblueberry Fri 06-Jun-14 20:15:38

DuckSongRocks I think he thinks it's unnecessary and it makes him gag. ;)

GiniCooper Fri 06-Jun-14 20:15:48

Yes.

spiderlight Fri 06-Jun-14 20:16:39

Yes, always.

HygieneFreak Fri 06-Jun-14 20:19:05

Yes every day! I have a white furry smelly tongue otherwise!

I know alot of people dont though.

The dentist did tell me that a furry smelly tongue was a sign of a bad diet.

WallyBantersJunkBox Fri 06-Jun-14 20:24:47

I use a waterpick thingy with the tongue attachment.

BertieBotts Fri 06-Jun-14 20:31:11

White stuff on your tongue is supposed to be down to bad PH or bacteria or something in the mouth, scraping it away doesn't remove the cause so won't prevent bad breath, it's better to identify the cause.

That said I do if I have the right kind of toothbrush with a good ridgy back. Some of them don't feel as good and using the bristles hurts.

Meglet Fri 06-Jun-14 20:44:08

Always.
