What perfume do you wear?

(115 Posts)

I'm looking for a new perfume.

I'd quite fancy Tom Ford Sahara as I like spicy exotic smells and all of the reviews I've read are fab......but it's £100 which I won't/can't spend on a perfume.

My usual buy is Poeme by Lancome or Shalimar but I want a change.

Come on , spill!

I wear Narciso Rodgriguez For Her.

DD likes strong perfume and favours Angel by Thierry Mugler (?sp)

I myself like sunflower by Elizabeth Arden

I also like Angel but loads of people think it's naff

Roberto Cavalli, Obsession or Guerlain Samsara are all lovely.

Happy by Clinique mostly - light and fresh, not catcall complex or sophisticated.

Aromatics, also Clinique, for something spicier.

Clarins Eau Dynamisante - lemony and herby
Clarins Eau des Jardins when I want something more morningy
I've some Tom Ford Grey Vetiver which is a mans scent but I like it on me
I've just found an old bottle of Organza which I love and will be replacing
Amarige - very floral but a bit unusual
Tom Ford White Patchouli for the winter

Mostly wear Jimmy Choo and Lancome la vie est belle

I love perfume and have loads - M & S is good for perfume ranges at the moment. Might be worth trying there for new ideas.

Obsession (old Skool) which is warm and sweet/spicy or Lady Millions by Paco Rabanne, DP bought it for me and although it wasn't 'me' to start with, it has really grown on me and I like it now, nice and grown up but not flowery.

Jo Malone - Pomegranate Noir
Chanel- No5, 19
Clarins - Eau Ressourcante ( might not be right spelling) Blue glass bottle
Guerlain- Mitsoukou

Bit off all of them at the moment. Would like something new. Loved Summer by Kenzo but they stopped making it. Smelled of grass and Freesia and lime

Alien by Thierry Mugler. People always ask what it is.

When I first caught a waft of it I abandoned my bar stool and chased after the woman to ask. She was lovely and gave me a sprtiz. Have worn it ever since.

ENormaSnob Sun 11-May-14 20:45:26
