Do you want to watch The Lion King?
Come on, let's press play
I never see other movies anymore
All other Disney's out the door
Even Tangled's gone away
Come on, I'll even watch Space Buddies
Anything but that Frozen lot
Because they're gonna make me die

Do you want to watch The Jungle Book?
It doesn't have to be The Jungle Book?
Do you want to watch the The Little Mermaid?
Or any other fucking thing at all?
I think some other cartoon is overdue.

I've started muttering "Olaf, fuck you"
And banging my head against the wall
Shall we try watching Ratatouille?
Before I turn into a fucking loon.
Just watching hours of Frozen tick on by
Head, desk, head, desk, head, desk

Please don't make your Mummy go there
The stuff I think about Anna and Elsa is obscene
Your happiness I don't want to discourage
But I'm on the verge of sniffing glue
To get through watching Sven and co with you
Please, don't put the DVD in

It's move night, we could pick any other?
Please, not fucking Olaf, if you love me?
Please! I beg of you,
Do you want to watch The Lion King?

Hear hear.

I'll bloody tell him what will happen in summer.

HoneyDragon Fri 02-May-14 20:18:31

I work in a pre school as well. I am officially FrozenFucked.

SecretNutellaFix Fri 02-May-14 20:22:32

You could always accidentally on purpose gouge a huge scratch in it one day?

HoneyDragon Fri 02-May-14 20:23:49

I'm suffering, but not that heartless grin

RiojaHaze Fri 02-May-14 20:26:33

That just made me laugh out loud! Brilliant grin

Twit Fri 02-May-14 20:29:16

I was being demented by DC1 singing "do you want to build a snowman" in completely the wrong key and pitch over and over (just the first line)

I was trapped on a coach for an hour and a half went on a school trip earlier this week with a very large group of 7 year old Frozen fans. I was praying for an ear infection by the time we reached the motorway.

Thankfully one small boy started crying and said that the singing was making him travel sick so they were politely requested not to ask if anyone wanted to build a snowman for the eleventy billionth time.

SecretNutellaFix Fri 02-May-14 20:34:43

Send it to me and I'll do it for you then if you can't. grin

DD1 is at MIL's for the weekend so my ears are getting a welcome rest. DD2 (aged 2.5) has been shouting "Mummy, sing Frozen" but I am pretending not to know the words.

I may however inadvertently be making things worse as I just looked up simple patterns for making Frozen costume because I refuse to pay the small fortune for proper costumes that fall apart in seconds I may regret it.

What is this frozen thing? I think I must be the only mum on hear to not know what it is

JonSnowsPout Fri 02-May-14 20:43:31

'Let it go, Let it go'

Makes me want to pull off my ears and eat them

HoneyDragon Fri 02-May-14 20:43:48

My Let it Go is awesome

I belt out

Here I staaaaaand
My arse in my haaaaaaaands

<<clutches arse, juts hips out, pouts>>

Feminism never bothered my anywaaaay

<<tosses hair does sexy new dress shimmy>>

Ds (10) much prefers my version grin

Frozen is the latest offering from a Disney. It's a musical. It wouldn't be so bad if it hadn't managed a viral ear worm affect on every child it comes into contact with.

PartyConfused Fri 02-May-14 20:46:59

They are even fucking singing it at sodding secondary school (although I had to help them out with some of the lyrics grin !)

Why does frozen seem so much more addictive than other films?

All my many little relatives were singing it when I visited recently.

CelticJuggler Fri 02-May-14 20:49:26

Oh that's good. I haven't seen it yet <thank god> but I know several mums who are demented by it.

(As an aside, would a 3 year old boy like it?)

BillyBanter Fri 02-May-14 20:50:04

The songs are without exception fucking awful.

Although tbf I only have their renditions to go on. I've not seen the film.

It's funny how a bit of distance makes everything seem smaller.

Channelling Father Ted there.

godlessdomestic Fri 02-May-14 20:50:32

My 7yo DD is a little obsessed, but I snigger a little everytime Anna asks Sven to take her up the North Mountain.. I truly have the mind of a 12 year old boy grin

BillyBanter Fri 02-May-14 20:50:47

Let it go!

Let it the fuck go!

HoneyDragon Fri 02-May-14 20:51:02

It seems just as popular with little boys down this way.

BillyBanter Fri 02-May-14 20:52:39

That is not what I imagined young marines to be watching or enjoying...

I'm a bit worried that I don't let dd watch much Disney, bad mum!!

I might have to get her it
