Rinse it with the vinegar from a jar of pickled onions.

DoItTooJulia Wed 30-Apr-14 18:30:18

Try lemon juice and sugar?

Overused nail posh remover in the past, but not on my head/face!

Eek, good luck though.

PussInBrogues Wed 30-Apr-14 18:30:37

seasalt Wed 30-Apr-14 18:31:20

Ha ha sounds like something I would have tried when I was a teenager

PussInBrogues Wed 30-Apr-14 18:31:20

when you stain it on your hands, you know when chopping etc, how long does it take to fade ?

I think you need to post a picture so we can --laugh at you--help.
Have you tried using washing up liquid or head and shoulders ? How did your hair turn out ?

ShatnersBassoon Wed 30-Apr-14 18:31:53

Hang on, I was joking about the vinegar. Did you put beetroot pickling vinegar on your head? grin

NigellasDealer Wed 30-Apr-14 18:32:00

grin LOL sorry arf arf

Quinteszilla Wed 30-Apr-14 18:32:01

That's not a make over, you are turning yourself into a side salad.

BetweenDogandWolf Wed 30-Apr-14 18:32:07

Reminded me of my aunt dying her hair with nettle leaves. It gave her fringe an interesting tinge of green. grin So don't try that next! smile

PussInBrogues Wed 30-Apr-14 18:32:09

er well its not really changed the colour much, but its very shinney
i have brown hair darkish

PussInBrogues Wed 30-Apr-14 18:33:20

oh ive made nettle shampoo before too
i did that as a teen

that wasnt this much of a disaster

Wait, what?

wightjellybaby Wed 30-Apr-14 18:33:34

I was a blue haired person in my youth when I did similar with hair dye I found waterproof make up remover worked better than nail polish remover and probably kinder to skin

PussInBrogues Wed 30-Apr-14 18:34:05

nettle shampoo seriously stinks

ah thanks for remonding me about that, makes the vinegar smell seem not so bad

seasalt Wed 30-Apr-14 18:34:13

I can't stop laughing about this

AhoyMcCoy Wed 30-Apr-14 18:34:45

<nods wisely> One bottle of Worcester sauce straight on top should sort you out.
