I don't read my dc bedtime stories, and I don't make them read to me everyday.

They have fruit shoots quite regularly when we go out,

I'm crap at grammar and I don't care!

My 8yr old dd was listening to eminen yesterday chicka chicka slim shady

I drink whenever we go out for a meal

I don't wear boden and nor do my dc

I don't really care about letting my dc who are 6 and 8 watch 12r films and some 15s if I think they're appropriate.

I own not 1 but 4 loo brushes.

RedPencils Sun 09-Feb-14 12:22:03

Fruit shoots
Wear a waterfall cardy (don't care, it's warm and I like it)
Quiz other parents on Sats results or indeed give that much of a shit about them generally
Buy end of term/Christmas gifts for teachers

I don't really limit screen time for my 3 to DS. He enjoys films, so do I and he tends to wander off and play after he's watched one anyway.

RedPencils Sun 09-Feb-14 12:22:56

Eurochick - I followed the heard and got rid of mine. It was minging though

mrssmith79 Sun 09-Feb-14 12:27:12

I own a loo brush.
I am a mince rinser.
The words 'tantrumming' and 'vulva' make me twitch.

Oh yes toilet brushes. I'd rather bleach the brush every few months or just replace it than get down there with rubber gloves. Yuck and it never gets done.

Don't limit screen time. Don't always read bedtime stories. Sometimes (gasp!) play games on the tablet instead, or let him watch youtube. (Or we make jigsaws or lego)

I liked clothes with slogans when DS was little. Not vile ones but ones I found funny (like a baby t-shirt with "Mine's a pint" and pint bottle of milk)

Frozenatchristmas Sun 09-Feb-14 12:31:11

I own a pandora bracelet
I own hunter wellies
I own a Barbour jacket

DS isn't interested in bedtime stories

I have a loo brush.
I drive a 4x4.
Erm... I think that might be it, though I have left my clothes pegs on the washing line on occasions <rebel>

lowra Sun 09-Feb-14 12:33:24

DD still has a dummy at 2.11. And not just at bedtime.

ziggiestardust Sun 09-Feb-14 12:41:13

Yes I buy fruit shoots at the soft play and give them to DS!

He eats chicken nuggets on Saturdays.

JupiterGentlefly Sun 09-Feb-14 12:42:58

My childrens packed lunch usually always contains a jam sandwich on white bread a chocolate biscuit and cheese strings.

EBearhug Sun 09-Feb-14 12:43:23

I own a loo brush, too. Please can someone explain why this is a bad thing? I must have missed something. I am quite happy to give up loo-brush owning, but not before I have someone else to do the cleaning.

Dumpylump Sun 09-Feb-14 12:43:23

TheSmallClanger Sun 09-Feb-14 12:51:21

Bull breed dogs which are not shut outside/in another room when visitors come.
I drive a loud girlracer car.
Don't supervise DD's homework.
Am not pushing DD towards the academic post-16 education she is probably capable of, because she doesn't want it and has satisfactory plans of her own.
No teacher presents, but DD is at secondary anyway and would die of embarrassment.
Don't tip unless service is very very good.
Poo in the work toilet - it is a toilet, and when I need to go, I will use it for its intended purpose.

SomethingkindaOod Sun 09-Feb-14 12:52:03

I think it was the same thread I was on before I nc'd. Nobody could decide whether sock buyers were controlling or under the thumb grin

StephenKatz Sun 09-Feb-14 12:52:34
