Anyone have a subscription to the Times and can cut and paste the list/top ten?
Would love to know the full list but don't want to shell out £2 for a month's subscription...
Is that really cheeky?

Brixton? Fucking Brixton? Well, I suppose so, if your idea of 'cool' is being mugged on your way home from work by a gurning crackhead who is also a pimp to the prostitute who lives in one of the burnt-out cars opposite your house, pausing between punters to inject heroin into her groin.
Jesmond?!! Wtf!
Jesmond is full of students. Gosforth is much nicer.

I've lived in quite a few of those. I'm as uncool as they come, as are most of those places!
Hebden Bridge
really??!!

I quite like that list. Don't suppose they've published their criteria?
Did it include number of organic food outlets? (just a guess
)

Malvern is not cool, it's freezing, foggy, damp and lots of it is stuck without sun because of the hills all winter, but it certainly isn't cool.
Quite nice if you are 55 to 65, too dull before and too hilly after

Glastonbury? Haha. If you're 65, retired, wear purple and have lots of cats

Folkestone?? Really
It had one night club, one all night illegal drinking den pub and a properly shit market when I last looked 15 a few years ago.
Has it changed a lot in recent years?

Well at least it didn't contain Reading for once! or Bridport.
I would quite like to live in Glastonbury or Totnes

Hockley, Notts?
Hockley in Nottingham is literally just a handful of streets in the city centre - it's not even 'residential' as such, just some funky shops and nightclubs etc.

45, not retired, no purple, one cat.
The Pallants, Chichester is a very nice part of the old town but cool it is not
Clemonthorpe! I never knew that was the name for the area - it's Bishopthorpe Road in York. Great deli - Pig and Pastry.
Would love to live there but expensive houses. Cheap car park though or a 30 mins walk.

Brixton? BRIXTON? Ahahahahahahahahahahaha. Must tell my sister who lived there and was burgled at least once a year until she turned the flat into Fort Knox, was mugged three times and had a halfway house set up next door (whose inhabitants used to throw all sorts of crap into their garden, and sit on the front steps and howl abuse at her when she walked by).
Who compiled this? A blind chimp with a dart and an atlas?
I live in Leigh On Sea - it is pretty cool I have to say
I've lived in Hebden Bridge and can only assume it's had a drastic transformation since I moved.
Lived in Hockley/Lace Market as a student - like CredulousThicko said, it's just clubs and shops - not really residential.
