I do and as far as I know the majority of my friends do.
My BIL doesn't as he has a long first and last name. My DH was called by his middle name since birth (no idea why) to the point where he legally changed his name to it.
So do you have a middle name? And does it have a meaning?
I have two
One is my granny's name
One is a place in Jamaica where my dad lived for a v long time.
My middle name is my mums name. All of my mums siblings and parents use their middle names as their everyday name.
Dp has a 12 letter surname. None of his family have one apart from our ds.
Suzanne, I was always chuffed -quite smug- when I was younger that I had a Z in my name, wtf

My middle name is also my mother's middle name, and her mother's, and her's...! I might end the tradition though - DC2 is also DS2. I'm trying to persuade DH we want 4 children, just in the hope we might get a girl to continue the tradition! Stupid thing is, though, I don't even like the name particularly!
Mine will out me.
Is a nickname DP gave to me. Legally changed it a few years back.
Had the same middle name as every other girl born in the 80s so it won't be missed.
Nope.
Neither do either of my siblings, or any of my children. DH does, there are about four names in rotation in his family - John, Alan, James and Stephen

No. We were too poor to afford middle names.

I don't and I've always wished I had! My children will therefore have two!
My middle name is my Dads name. DS also has the same middle name - I'm hoping he will pass it on to his own DC one day

Kosovar Albanian, I have a fairly uncommon but very English first name and the two don't go together at all!

My grandmother's middle name is my middle name too. For some reason, my parents have always called me by my middle name, which I am very relieved about as I HATE my first name. It's nothing particularly awful, it's just emphatically not me!
I have 2 & neither go with my foreign first & last name .
Plus I really hate them

Yep every girl I know has either Louise or Jane as a middle name.
Both my best friends are Louise, I'm a Jane.
Gave DS1 the same middle name as my dad and brother.
DH hates his middle name. Derek.

Mary. I quite like it - it sounds serene and ladylike (which I'm not).
