DS are 7 & 4.
They love IJ films but we've watched them all several times now.
What next?
I think still too young for Back to the Future. They've watched Star Wars & Harry Potter.
Ds 6 was scared of back to the future.
Pirates of the Caribbean?
Ds loves ghostbusters

Ducktails cartoon series by Disney? As i recall thats all about advwnture and hunting for treasure
Batteries not included is a lovely film.
Tin Tin, Jurassic Park, Star Trek, King Kong
I was wondering about Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid - its a good few years since I saw it though, - I don't think there is any bad language, but can't remember if there is anything unsuitably sexy.
Oh and there are loads of old films - like journey to the Centre of the Earth, 20000 leagues Under the Sea, Jason and the argonauts etc. which might appeal.
The goonies. Love that film.
Jurassic park might be quite scary for the 4 year old. The raptors are quite menacing.
The Goonies!
And maybe Romancing the Stone and Jewel in the Nile? Or Crocodile Dundee?
Kurri there is one scene in BC&SDK where sex is implied, but there's nothing graphic. It was originally rated an A if anyone knows what that meant 44 years ago!
::faints that she is as old as BC&SDK::
They'd probably love stuff like spy kids and the thunderbirds film (with the busted theme tune).

Butch Cassidy for 4 and 7 year old???
Apart from people getting shot dead there is that scene where the school teacher girlfriend does a strip for Sundance.
Like I said MTSgroupie - I couldn't remember what the film was like, and was uncertain of the content - I was thinking 'cowboys and adventure' - how lucky you came along to correct me so forcefully.

Don't know if you can still get it on DVD, but The Rocketeer was great fun: 1930s rocket packs and matinee idol villains (Timothy Dalton hamming it up). I don't know whether it would be suitable for a four year old but I think so, especially if they have seen IJ.
Bill and ted's excellent adventure.
Oh and superhero films. You still get the odd one with a PG rating. E.g. the fantastic 4.

I love Romancing the Stone
I think your 4 year old is braver than me.
