The only unusual surname I could think of to look up was Shufflebottom - yes, it's a real one. There was one at school, and their dad was a vicar. So, do any of you answer to Ms Shufflebottom in real life?
0 with my married name - but then it's French so not surprising.
78004 with my maiden name.

This is really interesting.
Apparently only 58 people in the UK share my married name (and it's a fine olde Englishe surname, not a forrin import) and I know 12% of them personally!
Whereas my maiden name is shared by 24,892 people. Which is why we use it whenever we need to book anything over the phone - at least it is easy to spell!

78842 for my married name
N/a for my maiden name
I knew I was classier than dh
Quite a few with my married name (over 30 000) but it says no record of my maiden surname. I know my maiden surname is rare, but having researched my family tree I reckon there would be about 80 or 90 people with the name in the uk (and a few in Australia).
I am another genuine rarity... There are a surprisingly large number of us! I have already bred with two DD's so not much use am I

889 people with the same surname as me - 5791 most common? according to that list
Maiden name 12252
Married surname, none.
Which is odd because I know us and PIL at least share the same surname, it is quite rare in it's spelling though, but not that rare.

my married name " Search for 'X'
Sorry, we don't currently have any data for x.
If this is your name: Congratulations, you are a genuine rarity, at least in the UK. Maybe you should try to breed, to avoid the X family becoming extinct!
If you know something of the origin of this name, why not start a thread about it on the forum - if we get enough information, we may be able to add it to the main site eventually. "
I am not surprised. It's a forrin name.
My maiden name - - 48582
So fairly common then.
247515 with my surname.
105032 with my OH's.
At least both our Christian names are very unusual.
