In addition to having my kitchen floor ripped up for wobbly floor worries (thank God it's rented), I'm achey because I had a vaccination this morning, and I'm having the worst period cramps; I think my insides are falling out.
DS is due home in an hour and will freak if the builders and surveyor are still ripping up the floor (long story), and I really want a bath and a fucking biscuit. Actually, a whole packet. But I can't. And I've roped myself into cooking tonight, but I'm too tired.
And it's Friday tomorrow, so I can't have a lie in.
I'm a miserable fucker this afternoon. What's going on for you? Cheer me, please.

Nothing cheery, but they say misery loves company, right?!?
I'm recovering from a stomach bug and waiting to see who goes down next.
DD has probably fractured her foot but there's a small chance it could be something Far Worse.
According to my cleaner, I have carpet moths.

Full of cold and feeling rubbish here. Also lack of sleep due to DS1&2 deciding that 5.15am was time to wake me up in order to wipe bums and change nappies. Delightful way to start the day, esp when I realised that DS2 had actually wet the bed...and he'd been asleep in our bed.
Boys both bored this afternoon, following an active morning, so it's a TV/iPad afternoon, whilst I neck Day Nurse and make a big cheering beef stew.

We spent our afternoon in hospital with an hysterical Dd1 and DD1 after Dd1 injured herself at kindergarten. Nothing broken, few stitches. Have had better days.

Shitty here too had root canal yesterday and mouth sore and achey, I also have a cold and feel sick. Dd1 was off school poorly today dd2 and ds2 are overtired, whingey and foul. I'm counting down till dh arrives
I had a tooth out, which was really really fun
But on the positive side, DS1 (6) has got through to the second stage of the schools talent contest for his comedy duo. Apparently his inspiration is part 'Almost Naked Animals' and Tommy Cooper.
Hope they sort the floor out soon.
I approve of your use of the word shitly
I was up in the night sick and have spent half the day asleep and half the day sitting down feeling ill (though not quite too ill to mumsnet)
Thought tomorrow may be shittier as I have both kids to look after and I'm worried I may still be ill.
The only upside is that I am losing a little weight :-)

I came home from A&E with a catheter in and have to keep it until Monday. Not going to be a fun few days.
I also told the nurse that I talk to my toes.
Where on earth did I get this from. I was high as a kite on the drugs and it just came out...

I had to be rescued by my dad from the toilet floor of the local library while simultaneously vomiting and trying to keep my 15 mo from escaping, as he chose that point to work out how to undo the lock on the disabled loo door!

on the upside my dad was available to rescue me, so I didn't have to face the bus home, my dp has just got home from work so I am off to sulk bed and I started weight watchers last Mon and there's nothing like a good dose of d&v to kick start weight loss!

poor you mechanical chin up, things will get better.
With the words, just start writing, once you actually get over the hurdle of starting it won't feel as bad!

you poor sausage.
I am just knackered. DS2 is having a loopy one but thankfully his befriender has just turned up so that should calm him down.
Shoved the littlies in front of ceebeebies and slugged down a red bull.
So I should be rareing to go in about 20 mins

Wasn't having too bad a day until I opened this thread and read about all the D&V - being an emetophobe it's not the best thing to read...
Luckily DD has finished pre-school for the week and as she has a cold, hope she may have avoided anything else going around and we will therefore be safe from vomiting until it all starts again when she goes back to school on Monday... Oh the miserable life of an emetophobe...
On the plus side - my weekend starts in about 10 minutes!!

boringly.
never ending miscarriage that seems to get worse rather than better... I tried to work but gave up.
And my dh has to work late so there are no hugs and I need to make my own hot water bottles.
Could be worse. I could have d&v as well...
