I love him. And may I repeat on this thread also, that the other day, there was a thread which recognised that in the trailer (so in some of the scenes) for the film The Tourist, Johnny Depp looked JUST LIKE JAY RAYNER.

They'd probably done that deliberately: bored of the piratical Keith Richards look, his people searched out another great icon to emulate. Jay.

Just watch the first 45 secs or so of this and you will henceforth mix up your Jays and your Johnnies

Hmm...I might have to sit on the fence here because, while I can definitely see he has 'something', I'm not sure I actually fancy him - although I do think he'd be naughty and that's always a plus

I enjoy his food reviews and he's funny and seems lovely but really don't see the appeal in a lustful way.

Ooh me too. DH thinks I am mental, he's a tall skinny blond chap and can't fathom what I can see in Jay Raynor. It's the filth thing for sure, you just KNOW you'd not be bored. Plus he'd make you a nice tea.

i don't see the resemblance to Johnny Depp other than the hair. Mind you I think Depp looks like a lily livered milksop anyway. Not a real man. Not like Jay.
