<slumps in the corner eyeing up the cake cabinet>

Nice place Weds!

Nagoo Mon 04-Mar-13 10:06:13

I want new boots

StickEmUp Mon 04-Mar-13 10:10:36

Morning nobs!

I got an hour before I go out so thought I'd come for a nobbing.

So Girls Aloud last night!
They can't sing!

Good show though

MrsYamada Mon 04-Mar-13 10:14:46

Morning Nobs brew? Haven't made it to Sainsbo's yet but I have given the toilets a quick wipe and listened to Yam-mas complaints of the day.

I wish I could see those boots goo, I want summat new, I might treat myself in Sainsbos [classy].

MrsYamada Mon 04-Mar-13 10:15:25

If you were expecting singing Stick you probably bought the wrong tickets.

CalpolInMyEar Mon 04-Mar-13 10:16:08

Nice boots!

I've started dinner as I CBA doing it with a toddler at my feet tonight. This way is just needs reheating.

Did you make that song up Goo?

StickEmUp Mon 04-Mar-13 10:17:57

MrsY What it wasnt the opera grin.
It was quite good. I'm glad I went along.

I've got nigella on, I am so tempted to make chocolate mousse for pudding later.

I might actually go get some posh glasses to put it in.

OMG I might go to Lakeland.

kitchengasm

CalpolInMyEar Mon 04-Mar-13 10:21:39

I have an amazing chocolate orange whisky mousse recipe. I serve it in my Le Creuset ramekins [wnak]

MrsYamada Mon 04-Mar-13 10:23:18

grin @ the Spam song.

I wouldn't know where to find a Lakeland and wouldn't know what to do when I got there.<sigh> Is it like IKEA with saucepans?

StickEmUp Mon 04-Mar-13 10:23:23

Well this Nigella one uses marsh mallow not faffing around with egg whites, so seems doable grin

Le Creuset! You beeyatch!

MrsYamada Mon 04-Mar-13 10:24:10

I'm not keen on the word ramekin, it makes them sound untrustworthy.

StickEmUp Mon 04-Mar-13 10:24:31

MrsY Look online. It's a kitchen equipment shop, some of it is kitch, some of it is pointless unless you have masses and masses of storage space and some of it is lovely.

StickEmUp Mon 04-Mar-13 10:26:56

Okay so I'm thinking maybe a salad with chicken, maybe ceasar, and choc mousse to end with.

Excited!

I love DH but I do have one problem, I have recently got into cooking (fron scratch) but he is a fussy eater and I really struggle.

If he liked curry I would honestly make my own curry paste. I love it that much.

but he won't eat anything but korma ... I guess I could make that.

<thinking out loud>

SoMuchToBits Mon 04-Mar-13 10:30:59

<Lands, clutching Norm in one hand and a brew in the other>

<hangs up jumpsuit> [butidy]

We have a Lakeland in Ipswich. One of the few shops that isn't either boarded up, a cheap pound type shop, a charity shop or a mobile phone shop......

I have cleaned the upstairs rooms, and am now having a brew before heading into school. Oh, and I can add "run the library session" to my to-do list, as the other library lady phoned me and asked if I could do it as she has a meeting! grin

CalpolInMyEar Mon 04-Mar-13 10:33:13

Sounds good. When do you want me?

My DH is the least furry (thank you autocorrect, I'm keeping that one) person on the planet. You could put literally anything in front of him and he'd eat it. Except soya beans, sweet potato or nuts.

But he'll eat crunchy peanut butter, sweet potato mash, soup and wedges, and I once bought hazelnut chocolate spread and he ate it for two months before I pointed it out, at which point it became horrible again.

CalpolInMyEar Mon 04-Mar-13 10:34:41

I love Lakeland. I don't go in. I would need to set up a direct debit from my account to them.

StickEmUp Mon 04-Mar-13 10:36:51

Calpol 6pm? grin

I want to swap DH! I am really unfussy too. I would eat anything.
Really, I can never think of one thing.

Oh. Okay, I was ill after eating mussels. (I just types muscles).
It's been 3 years, I'm not ready. But I will go back to them one day.

Ugh, time to get in the shower.
I'm knackered. Glad I booked a day off!

Bye bye Nobbies. x

Nagoo Mon 04-Mar-13 10:39:07

The Spam song is an awesome band called Save Ferris. Look them up. They rock. The singer is incredible.

stick make a curry you like and stir cream/ creme fraiche in for him?

Nagoo Mon 04-Mar-13 10:40:08

Kitchengasm grin

Nagoo Mon 04-Mar-13 10:41:37

Ramekins are untrustworthy. I had a le cruset one, in a heart shape, but I broke the lid.

I need to clean but really really CBA.

I have chased the baby about a bit, so she's happy.

Nagoo Mon 04-Mar-13 10:43:47

My favourite thing about DH is that he will eat anything.

decides against adding the wink to that

MrsYamada Mon 04-Mar-13 10:53:35

I feel crappy so I had a Yamnap. It's really sunny and I really should dig out Yam-bike but I can't get the energy up <sigh>. Off to Sainsbos, anyone need anything?

CJCregg Mon 04-Mar-13 10:58:42

Morning grin

Wednesday, I totally love you for going with this title.

I have lots and lots and lots of Stuff to do. So far I have only done a little bit of it. But I have made a start. This might, just, be the end of the beginning grin

CalpolInMyEar Mon 04-Mar-13 11:00:30

Oh I used to like Save Ferris, had never heard the spam song though grin

I don't do shellfish at all after a few similar experiences. It's not fun.
