Did anyone else watch it? Im normally one of those awful people who reads the synopsis of a film before I watch it or the end of a book before I read it so the suspense is killing me!
So who dunnit?!
Gave up 25 minutes in. Didn't grab me. A bit blah!

Gave it one episode and couldn't care less about the victim or the possible suspects. Wont bother watching the rest.Too many weird people and relationships in it.
Why cant they just do a proper story without all the weirdness.

Was Aiden thingummybob from The Wire in it? You know, the one who was the mayor.I think tht his name was something like Carcetti.

Yes maras I noticed him.
Too many potential suspects IMO it felt amateurish.

I think its the uncle, the guy in the hi vis coat! He's too shouty. I think we have to wait to find out!
I'm not quite sure how they'll string it out for another four episodes. So the normal person so far is the lad who fancies the twin of the missing girl & the ex policewoman
Yes with the vile dad with the secret in the cupboard ( is it the girl or as dh says a venison?) wtf?
Hard to like Aiden gillen - what his accent doing anyhoo?

member wasn't that boy selling himself to an old perv online though? Not normal wher I come from
They are all gloriously dysfunctional with any number of motives. Am very much looking forwards to the rest of the series. Strange man in tree had a very good tatter coat too...
Sounds intriguing. Which channel is it on?

I think it's none of the suspects - much too obvious
though something dodgy has definitely gone on with some of them
We don't know what's happened to her yet though do we?

It's setting it up to make everyone guilty of something...
The culprit will be least guilty seeming (uncle) or most suspicious acting (the policeman husband of Sophie Okenido)
We were gripped by it
It's the BBC - weirdness is compulsory
I was much more impressed by todays episode. Yesterday left me feeling a bit too many nutters on one street.
I'm really enjoying it but I can't help thinking that too much effort is going into making everyone a potentially bonkers culprit. Every look is weighted down with "significance" and even the most apparently level-headed characters (the former policewoman, for example) is required to deliver slidey, sideward glances that are, I assume, meant to be portentous. Unfortunately, they tend to come off as pretentious.
Still wish I'd had the idea and submitted it though.
