Get well soon Your Majesty.

OddBoots Sun 03-Mar-13 16:10:58

I think the royal family have learned that either they state what's up, TMI or not, or the media/social media start their own rumours.

Sailormercury Sun 03-Mar-13 16:12:13

sad hope shes on the mend soon

LadyBeagleEyes Sun 03-Mar-13 16:13:47

Poor soul.
I'm not a Royalist but I just see her as just a little old lady who should be at home relaxing with her feet up.
At 86, she's very vulnerable to illnesses.

MyHeadWasInTheSandNowNot Sun 03-Mar-13 16:14:22

Yes, I'd heard. I hope she makes a good recovery, she's a canny age and anything like this can be very nasty, especially for the elderly sad

However, she's always kept good health and is in incredible shape for her age - so, no reason to think she wont make a good recovery.

Pancakeflipper Sun 03-Mar-13 16:16:17

Could they not get the medical expertise/equipment and keep her at home where surely she would be the most comfortable?

Then the Daily Mail wouldn't be working on their Royal Sickness special features.

* DAY OFF FROM SCHOOL KLAXON*

Sirzy Sun 03-Mar-13 16:17:50

The probably did that for as long as they could Pancake but sometimes hospital is the best place to be.

Salmotrutta Sun 03-Mar-13 16:23:57

Well I'm no royalist but she's an amazing old lady who has worked very hard - privilege or not - and your remarks seem quite harsh Alison

MorvahRising Sun 03-Mar-13 16:23:58

Yes, Alison, they do.

But actually wishing them dead is charming, is it not?

Salmotrutta Sun 03-Mar-13 16:24:38

Yes, hope you get better fast Your Maj thanks
