...from the supermarket? Inspired, can you believe, by a P&C parking thread on which a few of us went off on a tangent.

I asked mine - DD1, DD2 and DS were fairly predictable - vodka, red bull, crisps and dips.

DD3 was a whole heap better with mussels, tomatoes, steak and, of course, chocolate and milkshake. She's 4 so this is obviously a massive not so stealth boast grin

DD1 (nearly 5) would get party-tupe stuff, chocolate, sweets, crisps, ice cream, the biggest birthday cake, paper plates etc.

DD2 (2) would spend it on many shoes, starting early! She takes after her gran.

FolkGirl Sat 02-Mar-13 10:53:54

DS would buy meat.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

VerySmallSqueak Sat 02-Mar-13 10:55:52

As many Moshi monster items as they could get.

TeeBee Sat 02-Mar-13 11:06:02

Gangsta Granny is a book by David Walliams.

VerySmallSqueak Sat 02-Mar-13 11:08:35

My DD told me I was like gangsta granny yesterday.

I'd not heard of her before.

Is that a compliment or insult, then?

Ds 7 would likely come back with lemonade, Doughnuts, DVD's, Match Attack cards and at best a Naan bread grin

NC78 Sat 02-Mar-13 11:26:45

Hundreds of moshi monsters

DS1 (6) Would get Lego, chocolate, fruit and magazines

Ds2 (1) would get £25 worth of biscuits

FairyJen Sat 02-Mar-13 11:38:47

Dd just told me I had to pay for shopping as I was the mummy ( she's 5 ) so basically she would have £25 savings and I would be £50 down after paying further £25 for junk from supermarket!

Not sure whether to be angry or to applaud her for being sensible with her money.

Unfortunately she is now asking for her £25. I should have made it clearer was a hypothetical question!!

A computer game
Crisps and Pop
Clothes

Oodsigma Sat 02-Mar-13 11:47:59

Dd3- eggs, pork pie, geen gapes, buns. She's two, loves shopping & this is pretty much what she made dh buy this morning!

DD, 3.5 has told me she would buy Spiderman sweets and chocolate bars. When asked what she would buy for dinner and to drink she said pizza and strawberry juice.

DH (DS is too little to speak, so he'd probably buy things he can bang together loudly) said he'd buy Halo 4.

So that's why I am in charge of food shopping! wink

FrankWippery Sat 02-Mar-13 11:57:23

Oops FairyJen sorry about that! She's a smart cookie your DD, I love her way of thinking.

I'm gong to have to get Gangsta Granny now, looks good.
