Hmmm it's quite a good size and the garden's nice and big. Can't believe that price though.

The living room is huge. I would like all that space.

TeamEdward Wed 27-Feb-13 21:41:38

Looks alright to me. shame there is only one bedroom photogrphed though.
Can't believe it's only £73k - you'd have to pay £200k for something like that around my here!

Garden looks amazing.

Seems VERY cheap for a four bed. Is that normal for the area? (&if not is there something structurally wrong with it?)

TobyLerone Wed 27-Feb-13 21:41:54

I need to move to Lancashire! A 4 bed house for £73k?!

It looks nice. Is it in a dodgy area?

FarleyD Wed 27-Feb-13 21:42:39

Well I don't know anything about the area at all, but the downstairs rooms seem to be good sizes. I like the fact there are separate reception rooms as well, and it's good to have a dining kitchen.

Only thing I personally wouldn't like is that the front door opens straight into the sitting room, but that's pretty minor really. Bedroom four is small as well, but others are good.

TrinityRhino Wed 27-Feb-13 21:42:58

hmm the area could be dodgy, dont know, not been there
it doesn't look too bad on the street view
I know, I know you cant really tell
totally new to this as in NEVER have done this before EVER

Ikeameatballs Wed 27-Feb-13 21:43:19

You get lots of space, indoor and out, for your money.

It could be made to look loads better with a bit of decluttering and redecorating, nothing major.

What would you use the second sitting room for? Sort of space that would be great as a playroom or sitting room for older teenagers but otherwise might be dead space.

The only bit that concerns me is the bit about the kitchen units possibly not being included?

TrinityRhino Wed 27-Feb-13 21:44:23

yes bedroom four is small but we're never going to find everything we want

the size, the garden, off road parking, cul de sac

tick tick tick, can cope with the small other bedroom grin

Chubfuddler Wed 27-Feb-13 21:44:52

I'd want to be sure there was a proper RSJ and building regs for the wall they've taken down between the hall and sitting room.

It's a very good size though. Can't believe the price. Is that typical for the area?

caramelwaffle Wed 27-Feb-13 21:45:16

To be honest - very first reaction - really good price/large/open/Lancashire/like it.

caramelwaffle Wed 27-Feb-13 21:45:30

Not the decor, however.

BOF Wed 27-Feb-13 21:45:50

It sounds like they will take the kitchen with them, and I think you legally need to drop the kerb to put a driveway in (which they haven't). Both these jobs would be at leat two grand each. So I'd be cautious, especially as you might want to upgrade the decor and bathrooms. It all adds up.

gaelicsheep Wed 27-Feb-13 21:46:23

Is it non-standard construction? That would be my worry for that type of house at that price. Nice garden though.

I think I would ask them to put a floorplan in. maybe photograph more bedrooms too. I've no idea about your area so don't know how reflective the price is I'm afraid.

Looks nice! - Would have looked even nicer had the estate agent not distorted and stretched the pictures.

Cannot believe you can get 4 beds for that price!! Looks really good.

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman Wed 27-Feb-13 21:47:28

Is it concrete construction or brick?
