When my DD was at primary school every time the parents were gathered for anything (school show/ year end/ meeting etc) the head teacher would make a slide show of photos of the children and accompany it with music, with the sole purpose of making parents cry!
I can't remember the song that was always played and now it is really annoying me, please help!
It is along the same lines of "lean on me" but now I have that in my head I can't think of anything else.
So think cheesy, about children working together, growing up, inspirational, with the aim of making parents emotional..what song comes to mind??
Please help, it's driving me insane!

Father & Son? by Cat Stevens &/or Boyzone?
Side by Side! That's the one I've been trying to remember from my own childhood. Thanks, Wannabe

I am loving the idea of phoning and pretending to be a mum I didn't like!
I can't phone now because there will be no one there now until tomorrow. So in the meantime, we will have to keep trying to stop my from going insane.
If it helps to give some other songs that the head used, so you can get an idea of her musical tastes!! She also used Hero by Mariah Carey and You raise me up by Westlife.
DD has just came home and I asked her if she remembered, she only remembers singing songs from Bugsy Malone, so she has a worse memory than me!
But can I just say, from this thread we could make a great compilation CD to play at school assemblies etc!
