When my DD was at primary school every time the parents were gathered for anything (school show/ year end/ meeting etc) the head teacher would make a slide show of photos of the children and accompany it with music, with the sole purpose of making parents cry!
I can't remember the song that was always played and now it is really annoying me, please help!
It is along the same lines of "lean on me" but now I have that in my head I can't think of anything else.
So think cheesy, about children working together, growing up, inspirational, with the aim of making parents emotional..what song comes to mind??
Please help, it's driving me insane!

No not James Tayor, more cheesey I think.
I keep thinking it is Lean on me, but it's not, but I have that permanently in my head now which I think is what is stopping me from remembering the actual song!

Nope, they are all good, but no!
Honestly, I can't believe I can't think of it, I sat through it for 7 years, I have such a terrible memory.
I think maybe it is about achieving potential. I realise I'm not giving you much to go on here, so thanks for trying!
can you ring the school and ask them?
Get by with a little help from my friends

Man, this is totally bugging me now, got to find out. Does it mention friends in it at all. Was thinking along the lines of the Joe Cocker version of I'll get by with a little help from my friends

None of those sorry.
But something in side so strong is good, it's along those sort of lines, similar to that and lean on me. It's a man singing.
I think if I phoned the school they would think I was insane! Although I am starting to feel insane!
Think I got a photo dvd when DD left, so I will look that out, it's bound to have music on it!
