Worse than 2 and a half men is Anger Management

And YY Outnumbered. My DS watched it back-to-back in the summer holidays and started to adopt some annoying "Ben-isms". I had to beat it out of him stop him watching.

Has anyone profferred LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE ?

I half agree with My Family but Robert Lindsay makes a really sexy dentist.
Even more phoar in SPY

Agree with so many on here, but,

Mrs Brown's Boys is brilliant, I fall off my chair laughing at the daft antics!

Also love The Royle Family (Not the dire Christmas Specials though)

And who on earth could say Blackadder isn't funny! shock

As for funny, it has to be personal: I recall looking in disbelieve, aged 17, as my Bavarian employer and wife (hoteliers) were practically wetting themselves at Chaplin! Bloke, open can of white paint ladder- you get the drift. Apparently, Germans love slapstick!

Isn't 'humour' a strange thing??

When I was in Japan the number one rated show was a hidden camera one where a bloke went around farting in people's faces.

Count Arthur Strong is written by Graham Linehan, isn't it?
As in Father Ted (god love him), Black Books (love it), The IT Crowd (also love it though a little less so)
I caught 5 mins of Count Arthur Strong and that little bit of my soul is dead and haunted forever. It's tragically unfunny.

I'm one of about 12 people who like it, Steph grin

I didn't know that! Seems so awful different compared to his other stuff... And if I happen to be in the bath I don't want to get cold and go and switch the radio off/over so I'm stuck listening to it!

Speaking of international differences, the Chileans loved Benny Hill when I was there many years ago! Thought it was the funniest thing ever grin

Jenai I think you may be right! grin

Just seen Tim Minchin listed, noooooo! He's lovely, and funny

Woah, hold up a minute, has anyone in 5 pages mentioned the absolute dross that is 2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps? My mil, who is lovely, gentle scrabble playing upholding member of the community thinks this programme is hilarious. What is the world coming to? sad

The Young Ones is bloody brilliant.

I loved The Young Ones but now it seems so dated.

Can't abide Justin Lee Collins (even before his recent girlfriend accusations)
When he does OOPS TV it's all I can do not to punch the TV. STFU Collins. Stop with the drivelly commentary. Not funny.

Benny Hill - genius in his earlier days. Towards the end the smut factor was played up. But he was a great comedy writer.
